thank you in advance@eltoppolino The bundle isn't available yet due to technical issues. We're trying to get that sorted today.
On the pricing, we give MS our Dollar price which they use so they should be the same, the other currencies are then set at their end so we have zero say in what happens there. It can prove an issue and is one of the reasons we try and encourage people to buy direct from us.
Hope that helps explain what you are seeing and why, though.

Hello Voice,
thank you for the information.
Thank you for the clarification. To be honest, from a customer perspective this still looks quite problematic.
At the moment I see:
JF Store:
Passenger Caravan: €38
Amphibian & Cargo: €38
Caravan Bundle: €56MS Marketplace:
Passenger Caravan: €52
Amphibian & Cargo: €52As a customer, I don't really care whether the difference comes from Microsoft, currency conversion, marketplace fees, or something else. What I see is a 35-40% higher price for the exact same product.
That creates the impression that Marketplace customers are being heavily penalized, regardless of who is actually responsible.
I appreciate the explanation, but from the outside it doesn't look great..
end of justflight communicationOne additional thought directly for you Nick:
I understand the Marketplace pricing may not be entirely under your control, but the end result is that customers who choose the world's largest distribution platform are paying significantly more than customers buying through a comparatively small specialist store.
From a customer perspective that feels backwards.
If Just Flight controls the pricing of Black Square products on the Microsoft Marketplace, they are effectively competing with Microsoft using pricing they set themselves
I fully understand encouraging direct sales, but there is a difference between encouraging direct purchases and creating a situation where Marketplace customers feel punished for using the platform they prefer.
I would also be careful not to hand over too much of your business to Just Flight. Black Square has built a very strong reputation and product line. Many customers are buying because it is a Black Square product, not because it is sold through Just Flight.
Just my two cents as a customer who would like to see Black Square succeed on all platforms.
The result is my father and me wont buy those 2 planes (as the first BS planes) at all.
Cheers
Michael (disappointed customer) -
I don't recall seeing Marketplace engagement this low on any other Black Square aircraft.

Michael (disappointed customer)Just to be 100% clear. Just Flight has no control over MP pricing apart from confirming the $US SRP that is on our site and those of our partner vendors. The only other option we have is to withdraw the title from sale.
Were Black Square to use a different publisher the pricing discrepancy would be no different and it is extremely disingenuous to suggest that Just Flight is somehow responsible and therefore should be penalised by our partner.
The complicated way that the Marketplace calculates £ and € prices applies to all products from every supplier.

Just to be 105% clear.
I don't really care who is responsible for the final Marketplace price. What I care about is the result. Black Square products appear to have exceptionally low Marketplace engagement, and a €51.59 price point for an add-on that sells for €38 elsewhere cannot be helping.
Customers don't buy explanations. They buy products at the price they see on the screen.
A comment from Just Flight earlier was:
"It can prove an issue and is one of the reasons we try and encourage people to buy direct from us."
Fair enough.
But this is a free market. If this is the strategy Black Square wants to pursue, so be it. I won't stand in Nick's way. However, I personally won't support it.
There are customers who do not want to manage purchases and updates across multiple vendor websites. The Microsoft Marketplace has real benefits: centralized purchases, centralized updates, a single library, and a consistent customer experience.
For me, those benefits have value. Unfortunately, the current pricing makes that choice difficult to justify.
end of discussion from my side. Thank you for the clarifcation.

What I’m seeing in the Marketplace is quite different. My local currency is Swedish Krona, and the price for one of the Caravans is 450,53 SEK. The equivalent in Euro, would be €41,30. That price includes value added tax, so you don’t pay more than that. .
How there’s a €10 difference within the Marketplace itself, is certainly curious.
