It is a long, long time since attempting anything like this, but my Saitek multi panel has a rather inviting metal toggle switch that I would like to bind to the Separator in the Caravan.

The simvar, Lvar or whatever is included with everything else in the manual (thank you Nick!) but I wonder if it needs a further value or modifier added such as 1 or 0, or True or False to get it working. I see that it is a Boolean value, which means little to my addled mind. I would imagine that it might be a simple toggle, but until I get to the PC, I do not know. Any words of wisdom would be really appreciated, because I might end up in a bind, if you will pardon the pun.

@Magic6420 No additional modifier necessary. Boolean simply means true or false, one or zero. I don't know what your hardware binding software will look like, but you should be able to set the the variable to the state of the switch. I'm sure others can help more than I can with hardware, but I will be here if you have any other questions!

Thank you very much Nick, I shall try it when I get to the computer. Plus, eternal thanks for all of your aircraft, which have really upped my enjoyment of the simulator. Long may it continue!

My favorite part of making them is knowing that they genuinely provide joy and deep fulfillment to my users. I've been a flight simulator user since the 90's, but MSFS was the first time that I felt some of the same emotions that I experience flying in the real world, and it's always my hope that I can bring some of those feeling to you through my software. Enjoy 🙂
