When I change windows, as in focusing on navigraph charts, firefox, or something else, and not having MSFS focused, the engine ITT< torque, N1, and fuel flow go down. When I tab back in to MSFS, they go back up. This is a really weird bug. For example, in cruise, my ITT was about 820, and when I switched to firefox to type this, it dropped to about 760. IDK if this is a microsoft or computer issue but I tried literally everything I could think of to fix this.

It's because the RPN update frequency is reduced when you change windows. This is the same issue as anyone building a home cockpit that struggles with frame rate drops from pop-out windows. I've heard this doesn't affect everyone, and various settings can change the behavior, so I suggest looking there. I have two monitors, and keep MSFS in fullscreen on one, while I can alt-tab, and open other windows without any change in framerate, so it is definitely a local issue, luckily, in this case.

@Black-Square Thanks so much for the detailed response! I will definitely check out fiddling with some simulator settings. Its very odd how some people have this and some people don't. I also have two monitors. It's weird because I have tried changing every setting on my computer, with no luck. I'll let you know if I find a fix.
