System Failures
-
Hi!
Looking at the list of possible failures and speaking specifically about the engine, I couldn't find issues like 'L/R PRIMARY INJECTORS' or 'L/R SECONDARY INJECTORS' in the P&W maintenance manual, not even in specific troubleshooting sections. Another failure like 'L/R ENGINE SURGE' — in this case, I'm not sure if that's an ambiguous term related to 'COMPRESSOR STALL.' Are they the same thing?
Anyway, what is the source of these failures? Because I couldn't find them in the P&W official maintenance manuals.
Thanks!

There is no "source" for these failures other than my own imagination/ambition. The primary and secondary injectors are the nozzles that deliver fuel to the combustion section of the engine, which may become inoperative due to a fuel control malfunction, or a clogged fuel distribution line. Engine surging is a generic failure for turboprop engines that can result from various compressor/fuel related malfunctions, or internal damage.

@Black-Square Thank you for your response. I had assumed that all these failures were indeed taken from the P&W manuals, given the complexity and realism of BS products. That's why I went to check the real manuals, and I didn't find them.
