Initially, I planned to fly around Southeast Alaska, eastern Canada, Papua New Guinea, and the Caribbean... but I've found myself mainly flying the Caribbean (probably about 80% of my Caravan time so far), and coastal Italy. Both have been a blast. A lot of St Barth's landings.

@RPGamerous So far I've been staying around the Anchorage area. Just did a trip to a 1400 ft gravel strip near McCarthy - no problem for the Caravan. I'm planning on making my way up towards Barrow and Deadhorse this weekend.

Mostly been flying around Ketchikan (PAKT) in the Amphibian.
With Northern sky's PAKT scenery there is a nice Seaplane base below the main Airport.

@Wothan yeah I love those NSS sceneries... adds a nice seaplane base to Petersburg (PAPG) too, and I think the Juneau scenery adds that one as well.

Honestly surprised at how little Alaska flying I've done. I used to live in Southeast Alaska, and I have a barely functioning VA based there. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a custom livery for the Caravan and fly there more... but yesterday I was actually inspired to finally take this great plane there because the Alaska Air Transit livery appeared on flightsim.to. I'm eager to head up Lynn Canal to Skagway, and also up Portland Canal to Stewart and Hyder.

@09tir98 Yeah I've flown the Beaver around that area quite a bit, there are some great strips there (and a TON of freeware available too).

PLEASE someone make us a good Beaver!

I've been doing a lot of cargo ops around Glacier Park and Calgary using SayIntentions SkyOps. Lots of beautiful terrain around there - and the current icing issues makes it interesting lol

St Pete FL area and New England. Short hops, mostly cargo. And the occasional St Barths trip

Anywhere with mountains, and hills. The Alps, British Columbia, and Papua New Guinea to name a few.

@09tir98 Do you think the caravn with floats could do a 1400 ft gravel strip?

@slipperfruit I haven't flown the amphibian yet so I am not sure. I don't think I'd want to land on a gravel strip with those tiny shopping cart wheels though.

@slipperfruit I can take off from Nanwalek, which is 1800ft, but I don't need anywhere near the whole runway to do that.

Confidential. Government and sometimes non government “contracts”… but more often than not, its usually a dirt road in place of an airstrip. And no questions whats in the back of that cargomaster please

In around Greece. Lots of islands to explore. I am practicing VFR hops without a GPS. Using classic VOR's and yes the KNS-80. It's fun charting out routes this way, identifying the VFR corridors and planning legs - the old school navigation way.
