Is GSP1 supposed to lose GPS fix when GPS2 goes off or goes to "acquiring"?

I noticed this using the 530/430 GPS combo (may also affect others, not sure...)
It seems like when you turn off avionics 2, the remaining GPS suddenly shows "no GPS". I also noticed it the other way around where 1 will have a fix but as soon as 2 goes into "acquiring", #1 will switch to showing "NO GPS POSITION" (until #2 gets a fix)...

I can't reproduce that one. What do you mean by switching off avionics 1 or 2? The busses? Then the Garmin units are off completely.

I have seen that same thing when playing with the breakers to save a bit of battery before starting. If it's not how the unit would work in real life, that's a WT issue, not a Black Square issue, as those are first-party GPS units.
