AP Not Following Localizer On Short Final

For whatever reason, when I get on short final, the localizer needle gets way off-center and the airplane goes off kilter, putting me a half a mile right of the localizer. Is this happening to anyone else? I haven't experienced this with VOR navigation. It seems to follow the VOR course needle just fine. Not sure what the deal is. Any thoughts?
