When a new Black Square aircraft is announced I know it is going to be a must buy.

I bought the Caravan bundle as soon as it was released on Tuesday 17th. I was eager to try all variants and was impressed with the passenger and float plane versions (the first two I tried), Perfect.

That said, I encountered some difficulty starting the engines on both the versions fitted with the cargo box i.e. the super cargo master and the cargo pod versions. I know it should make no difference to engine starts but I tried both versions in MSFS 2024.

All goes as expected until introducing fuel. After starting to introduce fuel, you can see the fuel guage respond and hear the engine note respond, then it immediately dies and then repeats the process continuously.

I have tried repeatedly to resolve this to no avail using the same process that starts the engines on the other variants with no issue at all. As a final thought, I uninstalled the bundle and re-downloaded it just to rule out the chance of a corrupted download. I still experienced the same issue .

I feel as though I may be missing something here as I'm the only one reporting this issue but I can't for the life of me figure out what.

I also have the Baron and Bonanza aircraft in the Black Square Professional series which I am also enjoying immensely.

I don't like to make a first post with an issue but Nick, you are a bright shining star for the flightsim community as I'm sure everyone who has flown your series of high fidelity aircraft will also testify. Keep up your great work.

Edit: Silly me. It was me failing to check my engine status. Assumed everything would be good for a first flight. Simple maintenance was all that was required. What an awesome product. Never assume anything! Lesson learned.
