It doesn't say it in the manual but I'm assuming that if the heat can't keep up that we should use the cabin heat mixing air to increase the amount of bleed air into the heat system to keep up? First flight with the Caravan at 8,000ft it could only manage 63 degrees without it.

It is used on the ground when the engine is at low RPM. Using the GND position with higher power settings (like in flight) will damage your heating system and is therefore prohibited.
Are you sure your selected temperature is correct? Is the Bleed Air Heat switch on?

Yep, bleed air heat was on, had the cabin/forward in the middle and defrost about halfway (tried it full open too), didn't have the outside vents open. It was -30C at 8,000 ft

Good morning, from what I understand, when operating in FLT mode, the air from the P2.5 compressor stage is released to the atmosphere, and when in GND mode, the air from the P2.5 stage is mixed with the air from the P3 stage, which then passes through the temperature controller and is sent to the cabin. However, when I view it on the tablet, it seems that this controller is reversed; when I put it in GRD mode, the air is escaping. I would like to know if I am misinterpreting the diagram.

From memory right now, I think you're right about the visualizer being reversed. I will check operation for v1.1.
