It is actually still a lets call it legacy native package and not a full native package. I had hopes that the Caravan would be the first real native package but as all JF and BS products its still the old structure. That will make in addition repainting a pain again with spamming versions and not liveries I assume. But not checked yet. And it opens doors for this compatibility remains like avatars and such.

(on the other hand it makes it easier for the Devs to keep work for 2020 and 2024 in parallel to a maintainable overhead... one death we have to die but I don't mean that as a negative point at all 😉 )

But the previous products utilized the native avatars. Although the copilot avatar was disabled, when you activated it using a few lines of code (from these forums), you had the native MSFS 2024 avatars. But now, even the pilot itself is the old one. I genuinely hope it's just the installers being mixed up.

        Thanks guys, well spotted.
Fixed now. If you redownload you should get v1.0.0a with fixed files.

Was the pax version also affected? I only checked the cargo variant, that's where I spotted the "issue" - never even looked at the pax version.

No problems noted with the pax version. I could only see an issue with the other version.

"Install_Caravan_Pro_AmphibCargo_MSFS2024_v0.1.0a.exe" is the file you want.
The bundle gets you both installers, rather than one containing both, so you should see download links for both.

Just to clarify, all of my aircraft released for MSFS 2024 are "real native package[s]". As I have explained several times in the past, the modular aircraft file structure is entirely optional, and does not limit the available features or compatibility of the aircraft in any way. Asobo says this in almost those exact words within their documentation. As far as my aircraft are concerned, the modular file structure is a further abstraction from which they do not particularly benefit. As I understand it, large airliners benefit the most, and also other workflows for modeling aircraft, which I do not personally use.

Why would I not be seeing any Avatars? I have no Pilot or copilot in external view.

Looks like it might be a Chase Plane related issue.

I can't see my copilot inside the cockpit or outside either. I selected the option in the efb.

Though you are in general right as the native definition by Asobo is quite wide and not very precise, you can actually group them into some native levels. And yes your packages are native packages and I didn't deny that. But the level of native package you have selected for your projects comes with some disadvantages for the customers. Most of us will fly different liveries for VAs or even download the already very nice released ones from your house painter Ryan and Tim for example. And with your products (or every other product using this level of native like the JF ones) all these additional liveries are actually not liveries but variants of the aircraft. For each of these you have then to select and assign your control profiles again cause the sim thinks its a new aircraft variant. Minor annoyance for sure 😉
