Aircraft tipping back on tail during taxi
-
On both the piston and turbine versions, I've encountered occasional instances of the aircraft tipping back on its tail (i.e. nose in the sky, tail on the ground). I thought it may be due to possible weight and balance issues on my part, but I've been conscious of only putting one pax in the back row, and it's still happening. Any ideas?

What were you doing at the moment it tipped onto its back? I’ve only had this happen personally if I was being a bit impatient (or careless) during a pushback and applied the brakes while still moving in reverse. That’s a bit of a no-no. If you were just taxiing normally I wouldn’t expect it to tip back though especially if the CG is within bounds on the tablet.

sometimes the slope of the apron can cause the aircraft to tip back when loading in with a slightly aft cg. you can try adding weight to the front and reloading and ideally spawn with the nose downhill or perpendicular to the slope. Believe it or not, but a plane tipping onto its tail is not uncommon irl.
