114 TC Mixture cannot be set on my GoFlight (as opposed to the 114)
-
Thank you for your excellent product.
Yesterday I had no difficulty linking my GoFlight mixture to the TQ6 for the 114 and everything worked well as designed. But today when loading the 114TC for the first time, I could not do the same (throttle and RPM are working fine), even though I am using the same profile in the settings as the 114 for the 114TC.
Even stranger, I could not start the 114TC engine at all, it would crank all right, start and die on me... until I discovered that although the mixture does not move in the airplane (it is on full rich), my mixture on the TQ6 was on full lean... so evidently the engine could not run!
Since my 114 profile is the same as the 114TC, how can I explain this behaviour, in reality my TQ6 does work and does command the mixture, but on my screen in the 114TC, the mixture wont move except if I use the mouse, but it wont command anything if it disagrees with the TQ6.
Is my explanation confusing enough for you?

Did you read this from the FAQ in the manual?
Why does the mixture behave strangely in the turbocharged version, and I cannot bind it to hardware controls?
Microsoft Flight Simulatorās turbocharger simulation has been significantly flawed for several generations. This aircraft has a custom turbocharger that fixes nearly all of these issues, and is much more realistic, as a result. To make these changes, the new āInput Eventā system is used to intercept hardware and key-bindings for the mixture control axis. Please make sure that your hardware bindings are using the Key Events, such as āK:MIXTURE1_DECR_SMALLā, or āK:MIXTURE1_SETā to set the mixture, and NOT setting either āA:GENERAL ENG MIXTURE LEVER POSITION:1ā, or āB:FUEL_Mixture_1_Setā. Alternatively, setting āL:BKSQ_MixtureLeverPosition_1ā from 0-100 will also work to set the mixture axis.
