I have tried the bindings (events) in the manual and no joy. Does anyone know the bindings for the GNS 430? Thanks.

In MSFS2024, my config. control bindings save no problem at all for the Stock Duke and Turbine Duke. But, they do NOT save for the Grand Duke. I've removed them and re-done them, and everytime if I load the Grand Duke I have to set up the control binding presets etc. Is there a way for me to correct this behaviour?

Since I apparently seem to be talking to myself I'll ask another question: Why don't the manufacturers of the airplanes we purchase in MSFS24, publish an event or binding list standard with every purchase??

@jrustyshaffer I didn't want to ask a stupid question after your first post, but have you tried the bindings that I list in the manual for the GNS 430? I haven't heard of any trouble with them. If you find anything else missing from the 16 pages of inputs and outputs in my Duke manual, please let me know. I routinely miss some, and I'm always happy to track them down and add them.

Did you read the first post? Yes Sir, I tried the bindings in the manual - no joy. I am using the flightsimbuilder GNS 530 - would that have some sort of effect on the 430? I love your planes a ton! I have purchased every one of them except for the starship. But there's got to be an easier way for getting controls bound....seriously.

@jrustyshaffer I'm sorry, I had two posts back-to-back last night about GPS bindings and must have gotten them confused. Just to be clear, you tried >H:AS430_1_DRCT_Push, and >H:AS430_2_DRCT_Push, for good measure? Did you try binding some other known-to-be-working event to the hardware just to make sure the whole hardware-software chain is working correctly? It should be that simple. Those are the same events that are sent from my software internally, so as long as they are getting to the simulator, they should work.

Yeah, didn't work. My hardware is good but I think you hit on what is wrong. Your commands (at least for the GPS units) are not getting to Hangar Control. I can bind the other controls in the plane but not them. Le t me check with Mike at Hangar Control and get back to you. Thanks.

I switched from using (H:) events to the Input Events (IE:) for the GNS430, GNS530 and the GNS 530 Dual. Not familiar with Hanger Control however you or others may find this useful. Examples in Axis and Ohs for DirectTo:

                  1 1 (>IE:2:AS430_DIRECTTO)
                  1 1 (>IE:2:AS530_DIRECTTO)

                  If Dual GNS 530's
                  1 1 (>IE:2:AS530_1_DIRECTTO)
                  1 1 (>IE:2:AS530_2_DIRECTTO)

Perhaps Hanger Control also utilizes Input Events (IE:)
