Fun with heat :)

Had my first REAL experience managing heat and the avionics (just passed 400 hours in the Starship
). Starting up in Phoenix with my normal pretty quick startup procedure it got up to 138 degrees in the cockpit
. Got an avionics failure showing an EICAS failure (hadn't turned it on yet). Turned the Alt blower on and got things started up. Once some slightly cooler air got in there I was able to get the EICAS up (no failure were showing on the EFB throughout this btw). Then the Copilots avionics had a bunch of failures while it was coming up. I turned them off for a bit while some cooling air got around from the engines and then was able to bring them up on the way to the runway. By the time I took off I'd managed to get everything up and running and all the tests passed - into the air and cooling things off.Still LOVE this aircraft after 400 hours!!
