MSFS2024 Controller settings resets after sim restart for all Caravans, except the Caravan non Cargo Pod version.
-
I've noted the same. I have to reselect my controller assignments with each sim start. And this is the only aircraft that requires this. On my last, I loaded a second flight within the same sim session and the controller assignments held. So only on sim restart it appears.

I know this is not what you guys are looking for, but I highly recommend leaving the internal settings behind and switch to something like Axis-and-Ohs, spad.next, Mobiflight etc.
This does not only solve the mysterious loosing of controls sometimes it also opens up a lot more options in terms of what you can control.
Just as an example I can even manage my sunshades via hardware, every air intake,aso.Initial setup takes a bit longer for every new plane but it is worth it. Only limitation is the number of buttons and axis available as hardware.

I tried a full reinstall of all variants, and had thought for a moment that it had worked. However, it's back to it's original ways. I've been mostly flying the amphib, and it's a coin toss as to whether I will have to re-select my control profiles. Not an issue on any other BS aircraft.

@RealPax
I actually got "Hangar Control", but unrelated to the Caravan, I then got other problems going that way.
Until now MSFS2024 Controller system has worked mostly flawless, not quite as easy as Hangar Control and also not as powerfull. -
@Black-Square Have You looked into this ?
-
@MiRexer No....
I had this issue before I tried to install Hangar Control.
The reason I hgot Hangar Control was actually because I have problems with the Caravan Pro's MSFS2024 controller setting persistence.I rather think it's the instal structure of the Cara an.
The SWS Kodiak 100 has no problems.
It has all versions assembled under one "Layer" - meaning that on the main Aircraft selection screen, there is only one Kodiak. All versions can then be found under "Configuration". -
@Black-Square Still no feedback on this ?
