Not sure about this but should the gauge not show the same value around 1 degree C as the tablet?
Same for F, seems like both are off by around 5 degree.
Or is this again some crazy real live issue modeled in the Aircraft.

That few degrees wouldn't be the difference between Total Air Temp and Static Air Temp, would it? I'm not sure if the Caravan would go fast enough for there to be a noticeable difference between the two.

You could be right. Will check on my next flight if there is a difference on the ground as well or only during flight.
        Thx for pointing at this!

@jmarkows I am pretty sure at full speed, it would go fast enough to add 1 or 2 °C of TAT to the SAT.

Looks like you are 100% correct. This is f-ing awesome that even someting like this is modled.
This level of detail is beyond amazing.
            Thanks to Nick.

@RealPax I'm flying above Florida in the Caravan right now at 7000ft, doing about 145 KIAS. OAT probe is showing about 13C, tablet says 10C.

Converting to Mach gives me M0.25, which works out to be about a 3 degree rise.
