Active Multiplayer External Pilots

Nick, here is a problem in active multiplayer that you may have seen. By “active multiplayer” I mean flying along with friends. Flying the new Caravans in two group flights this week, it frequently happened that nearby friends were shown with their avatar pilots sitting on top of the Caravans. The benefit is that we get to see the others’ avatars. The drawback is that IRL the pilots rarely get to adjust their seats to get such a good view…
Over the years, this phenomenon has shown up occasionally in other multiplayer aircraft, but it is not common. However, it does seem pretty regular (although not absolutely consistently so) with the new Caravan.
This is not a first-order problem. It affects the operating pilot’s view of his friends but not of himself. And thus it affects active multiplayer events and not solo flights. But it would be much appreciated if you were able to ask the avatar pilots to remain in their cockpits. Eventually.

I saw the same behavior yesterday. Three of us all flying Caravans, and each of us saw the others' pilot avatars sitting on top of their planes.
It was probably a startling sight to the Goroka, PNG airport staff
