In 50% of my flights my Engine just shuts down midflight. I am able to just start it up again, but I really have no idea why this is happening in the first place.

    • I tried deleting all keyboard input bindings related to engines, fuel, throttle and mixture
    • Engine is not damaged and good condition
    • no failures
    • all engine parameters in green
    • no icing / or all anti-ice on, incl. inertial seperator
    • fuel selectors both on an tanks full
    • no warnings on the warning panel until engine shuts down.

What could be the cause here? Im on SU5b if thats important

Looks like this is indirectly unrelated to the plane. I noticed my carpet under my desk causes some static discharge everytime I stand up and go AFK. It was haunting at first noticing it. Now it seems like due to the discharge, USB devices disconnect for a second leading to a 5 second sim freeze which probably caused a very short wrong input, like mixture cutoff or something. Engine shutdown doesnt seem to happen without a mixture axis bound. Gonna order a new USB hub that is powered, so it can keep power stable

I am also having something like this. While climbing the engine just cuts out. No fuel flow and unable to restart. Annunciators show Oil Press. Low and Vacuum Low. Did not see any fuses out. Everything seems fine until the moment it happens. ITT is around 740-750. And I'm flying the cargo version if that makes any difference.

Make sure Aircraft stress damage is disabled in the settings for MSFS

I've been flying in VR. I just tried a 2D flight and got a "Aircraft System Malfunction" from MSFS2024 as the engine quit.

@windplr Disable Aircraft Stress Damage in MSFS settings. It will fix this issue you're having.
