Hi Black Square, I've been trying to install the Caravan Pro Amphibian version to my MSFS 2024 Community folder. The installer fails with an error message 20260324_184332.jpg
I've got a support ticket raised. This only happens with the Amhibious variant. The Passenger variant installed just fine.

There is a workaround by installing to the custom location after picking default, but it will corrupt your Registry if you delete the Just Flight folder after installing it. You will not be able to uninstall it using the Control Panel. Black Square products to me are the Gold Standard in the FS world , but this installer is a far cry from Gold. Anyone else having this trouble ?
Oh , and before you all ask, Yes, I install as Admin and yes, I have long paths enabled. No antivirus running beyond Defender.
If the Passenger Version installs OK, why the fail with the Amphibian ?

The Amphibian version uses a longer path than the Passenger version.
Deleting folders shouldn’t do anything to the registry, so I’m not sure what happened there. We would not recommend manually deleting anything though - use the uninstall option in Installed Apps to remove any files or folders.
Like you say, deleting the Custom File natal option should allow you to get around the long path issue.
