When going to the external view it seems like it's centered on the wing as if it was a low wing plane - it's very low on the screen. VERY small thing but I thought it might be something you could tweak for the next release.

There MSFS external view is centered on the model's origin, which we are advised by the SDK to have as close to the center of lift as possible, hence why we see this with high wing aircraft. I agree. Very annoying, but I haven't seen any solutions in the numerous threads I've seen on the subject.

I don't fly many high wing planes - explains why I haven't noticed it. Thanks

          Disclaimer: I'm not a shill!

ChasePlane from Parallel 42 will give you MUCH better external views, including a much better default orbit camera. There are a load of videos about it on Youtube - I'd recommend "Sim Pilot 320's" review of it.

I do the vast majority of my flying in VR and Chase Plane doesn't support VR in 2024 😞

            • Not recommended for VR due to known limitations.

Ah bummer. I wonder if they're working on that though. Might be worth keeping an eye on it!
