Sudden Beta Issue into stall

Hi All, in my last two flights in the 2024 Caravan Supercargo I was flying at 4000 ft and all was stable at cruise power levels. Suddenly the beta light pops on (an option I chose) and I quickly loose power. I had not touched any controls. I try to reset the power by pulling back on the throttle and then quickly full power, with no effect. Beta continues and I stall into the ground. Could this be a binding issue? Yet I thought beta was not possible in flight.
[edit : I have previously completed a number of successful flights before this phenomenon began to occur)
Any thoughts?

@hangar_101 It was my error. I had assigned F2 for the Chase Plane Fly-By input, which also happened to be the MSFS 2024 Default Thrust Reverser assignment. So of course I lost power when I did the Fly-By view. I just removed the Default Thrust Reverser assignment from the F2 binding to solve the issue as I don't use it in any case.
