    The day has come!

Very important question: how do you configure your throttle lever?

    As explained in the manual:

"Beta range is incorporated into the bottom 15% of forward throttle input. Users can assign this 0-15% range to their hardware using 3rd party applications, or with physical detents"

...But I wonder how do you set that 15% range in your throttle, and especially without using payware options (like FSUIPC, etc..)

My throttle has physical detents but I'm not sure how to align it with that 15%. Maybe is it possible playing with the sensitivity curves?

And the reverse? maybe as the classical button?

    Regards!

There is nothing to set up really. Unlike other planes, 0% is not at the back stop of your throttle. You will move your throttle forward a bit to get to 0%. If you pull your throttle back all the way you will be in beta range.

I can't help with aligning to a specific detent, but in every Black Square product I own with a beta and reverse range, Throttle Axis X (0-100) has been the correct Sim assignment. Goes from forward to beta right around the 50% mark and then farther back into reverse.

@Chotter Glad to hear you're still excited today 🙂 For reverse, you're correct, a button is the easiest. There is a native binding to enable reverse, which is what I use. As for aligning a hardware detent with the software detent without using any 3rd party applications, that's a little more difficult. I believe you're correct that the sensitivity curves, or null-zones are the only way to do it. This is not my specialty, however, so someone else here might have some more suggestions.

            Hi there!

It's a wonderful aircraft, the Beta range is absolut fantastic!
But I can't use the reverse-function with my Honeycomb throttle-quadrant...
It works fine with the default C208B, but not with the Cargomaster...

What do I have to set, to get the reverse, if I activate the button of the trottle-1-lever?

            Thanks in advance!

            Best regards

I figured out the solution myself.

When I set the button Nr. 24 of the throttle-quadrant (on my throttle-lever-1) to decrease throttle, everything works perfectly...👌
