Thanks very much for the free update. The instrument glass issue has been fixed but sadly the issue with dynamic registrations remains (zoomed in partial reg on port side, nothing on starboard side).

@AlphaEcho I'm strangely having the Glass issue. Wonder if something didn't calculate right during the Upgrade process in my Sim.

If anything the instrument glass is too clear now (looked much better in 2020 - and I believe there is a 2020-2024 reason for this), but infinitely better than it was.
Just in the process of disabling, re-enabling and downloading/installing in the hope the reg gets fixed.
Weird how youâve had the exact opposite fixes to me!

@AlphaEcho Let's see if I can remember what I did.
- I had the Starship, Baron and Bonanza all hard-installed to my Sim.
- I did the Upgrade without uninstalling/disabling first the 2020 versions.
- Strangely, the Baron & Bonanza upgraded without any of the usual prompts ("Please wait while the item is being setup.") etc.
So, maybe something got mixed up. I'll try again here after dinner, doing a clean setup with all of them.

@AlphaEcho OK, so the instrument glass issue is the "jittering smudges" when in direct sunlight, correct? (Dibs on the Band name).
Still happening for me, but y'know, at the end of the day, I have a freakin' Beechcraft Starship of exponential quality in my Simulator, so I cannot complain.

I bought the 2024 version of the baron, but it looks like i have to pay full price for the 2020 version.. is this expected?

@Moonflower_414 Others will fill in exactly what this is supposed to look like on the marketplace or Xbox, but the one purchase should come with both versions. When each of my products have been released to the marketplace recently, there has been a period of around 24 hours where the 2020 to 2024 upgrade appeared to be an additional charge, but that should be sorted by now.

I bought the baron professional in msfs2024, it said 2020 version was included, great! I check 2020, nope, have to pay full price for that, has to be error.. check again 24 hours later.. nope full price... what... ok.. check again this morning, nope full price... i bought the baron on January 11th. So not sure what to do..

@Moonflower_414 Very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I think this is out of our control, but if it doesn't resolve by mid-week, I will make sure that someone at Just Flight looks into this with Microsoft/Asobo. Trust me, I am as frustrated by these mishaps as anyone, because I don't want newcomers to assume I am charging for these updates.

We believe that once the Baron/Bonanza Bundle releases on 2024 this week then the issue will go away. It seems all versions have to be released and available in all formats for all of the various pricing permutations to then appear and work correctly. An anomaly that is only now becoming clear to us. This we hope will happen this week. Fingers crossed, EVERYONE!

@RivendellGaming All 2024 upgrades for my aircraft are free, but I hope someone else will chime in on what happens if you buy the 2024 version, and then seek to "downgrade" to the 2020 version. I think it will appear in your library for both simulators without hassle, but I've never done this myself.

In the specific case of the Starship, I bought it in 2020 first (because it was released there first). Then, when it was available in 2024, it appears as an âupgradeâ (a specific tab where all your 2020 add-ons that have an equivalent in 2024 appears), where the price should say âFREEâ. Buy it, for free, and fly!
More recently, I bought the Caravan in 2024, and when I later booted up 2020, it was ready to download in the âcontent managerâ, without any additional step needed.
Sometimes, it can take a little while before the sims âsync upâ, and you might need to relaunch the sim or even wait an extra day, before itâs available in the other sim.
One more thing. In the 2024 marketplace, there is a notification under the buy button, where it says â2020 version includedâ or something like that. This appears on all 2024 items where a 2020 version is included without additional cost. The same notification does NOT exist in the 2020 marketplace, regardless if a 2024 version is included.
