I am at KSAT parked at gate with ground power, and I still can't connect through the tablet. Don't understand why this an option in TBM 850 if it does not work!

@rockywaves have you also switched the electrical power source on the overhead to GPU? The tablet option only makes the power cart available, it doesn't connect it -- at least that's my experience.

I assume you mean that you're seeing a default external power truck outside the aircraft, as opposed to my external power battery cart? Also, I assume you mean that the power cart is not being deployed, not that you're seeing no voltage being delivered to the aircraft?
There is a variable,
EXTERNAL POWER AVAILABLE, that allows us developers to see whether there is ground power available in the aircraft's parking area. That's all that's required to trigger the external power cart via the tablet, as well as having the parking brake on, or the chocks in. If that variable isn't reading true at that parking spot, at that airport, then there's nothing I can particularly do about that. -

@RPGamerous Yes, I have switched to Source GPU under the crash bar. I have tried several airports with parking spots and gates with visible ground power supplies. Do you have an airport where it works for you, so I test?

In my experience, nearly all airports, if not all airports, work, even tiny strips with one parking spot in the middle of the desert. I might add that it also has nothing to do with any visual presence of a default GPU in my experience. If you are unable to get this to work at any airport in the world, including large parking spots at default commercial airports, then perhaps there's something in your community folder that modified the services available. I don't know if that has any impact on the EXTERNAL POWER variable, but I know there are mods to change the default services worldwide, or what Asobo calls "the living world".
