    Hi at all.

I just installed the new version 1.2. However, I encountered a problem with the CDI on both VOR instruments that oscillating randomly making impossible to follow a radial. They seem to turn on and off randomly. I haven't found any active faults or strange indications on the electrical system screen. I tried with different instrument combos (GTN, GNS etc...) and the problem persists. To verify that it was not the simulator, I tried another default aircraft that had the GNS530 and one with the G1000 in the same location (north of KLAS) but both work correctly.

I'm adding a video which shows the problem:

MSFS2024, SU4 BETA, Piston Duke (I have not tried the Turbine Duke), Tested also with empty with community folder

How far away are you from the VORs? Black Square aircraft are some of the only ones to simulate signal loss in the VORs when on the ground or when you’re near the edge of the VOR range. That oscillation looks normal for being too close to the end of the service range of a VOR (too far, too low, etc.).

Getting perfect VOR reception while on the ground or near the edge of the service range is actually not realistic, but most aircraft use the default MSFS logic where you either have reception or you don’t.

Edit: page 119 of the manual covers this:

Yes, I know that near the VOR it works like this. In the video, around 10 miles (I was doing random flight, flying in all directions, inbound, outbound, sideways but always around that distance).

I was trying to perform NOTWN5 taking off from RWY 12L of KVGT when I noticed this behavior .
The procedure involves turning right after take-off for 250° until intercepting radial 313 and following it until RUZCO, 12mn DME form LAS (the VOR situated to KLAS) and below 5000 then turn right and follow radial 140 until LAS.

@Simog It's caused by the SU4 beta. Go back to SU3 and everything work ok.
