Sorry to keep nitpicking! The pitot and engine covers will be in place upon a cold start, but the chocks are always stowed in the cabin, regardless of the tablet settings.

I just checked this, and everything appears to be in order, and no different from MSFS 2020. The sequence of aircraft loading in MSFS 2024 is all sorts of confused compared to MSFS 2020, so I suspect the aircraft is still in "motion" when the flight loads, which disables to chocks before you have a chance to see them.
