Recently did a flight from KOSH to CYYZ. Everything started fine, took off, got the plane pointed in the right direction, hit nav mode and then went direct to the first waypoint. That's where the issues started. Kept saying I was 10+NM off course... of a direct to. So I cancelled the Direct To and just let it pick up the planned path.

But then that's when the second issue popped up. Now it wouldn't automatically go to the next waypoint. For each waypoint on my Flight Plan, I had to go DIR and then cancel the DIR to get it to track the next leg at all.

I did try changing from auto to manual legs, that didn't work so changed back to Auto and it still wasn't working properly.

So I'll admit I had a bit of a sloppy setup for this flight, put in the flight plan, forgot to update the VLF position until I was in the air but I'm not sure if that has any effect on this.

Maybe I have seen a similar issue
(but on SU4 beta, don't know if that plays probably a role)

I was on a course which had sth like a wide rectangle path.

        Screenshot 2025-09-24 073502.png

Original active leg was from the left position to 1
(note: its just for illustration. "1" was not the first WPT on the plan)

        Then I set a direct-to to 3.
What happened then was, that the leg from 2 to 3 got magenta.
And the Starship was flying a course like the direction from 2 to 3. But not heading to the leg or to 3. What I would have been expecting was, that it steers at this point directly to 3, maybe "illustrated by a magenta line from PPOS to 3?! But no line was drawn, just the active magenta leg from 2 to 3.

I then made a direct to to 4, leg 3 to 4 got active and Starship was flying to that leg.

        Mysterious ...
