I believe the PFD should show a 10s flashing yellow 'YD' in the upper left whenever the Yaw Damper is disconnected....it doesn't seem to at the moment. Is this something that can be added?

Also, I believe the YD should be disconnected automatically any time you use the control wheel disconnect button to disengage the AP.

These two issues make it more difficult than it should be to determine YD status.

    Thanks.

I'll have that control wheel disconnect change done for you in less than a minute, but there are actually several annunciators on the instruments that should blink -> steady, or steady -> blink, but I have omitted that for the sake of performance and speed of programming. Drawing to the screen more often reduces performance, and constantly checking for blink states also adds a lot of code execution. I've implemented it everywhere I thought it was really important to aircraft operation, but I just didn't deem YD disconnect to be of similar value to the operator.

Oh, you're saying that it's missing altogether! Glad I looked at the code. Fixed that one too.

Hi Nick, well I kinda think that, given the overall completeness of the product, these little things matter, but that's the geeky IRL pilot side of me, a side that's always been obsessed with avionics....

Any little flashing annunciator is important. Many thanks for the quick turnaround.

Overall performance is excellent, maybe the flashing 'to-waypoint' indicator at 10s to turn would be ok too....

          Really enjoying your creation.
