Fan sounds turn off when releasing parking break and lights of hardware come online when external power is connected (MSFS 2024)

When I complete the walkaround, attach the external power source, then enter the cockpit and turn on the battery, the external power and EICAS, and then toggle the parking brakes, the fan sounds in the cockpit disappear. Anyone else has that too? I haven't tried if that happens later in the process too.
The other thing I noticed was, that my hardware lights up once the external power is connected and before the switch in the cockpit is flipped -- I expected that to happen after using the switch.
It works too if you just do everything via the tablet.

Can you check if you still have external power voltage? Maybe the external power is coded to disconnect when parking brakes are not set. This should kill the fan sounds.
