I suggest @Black-Square makes a hidden shop link and post it here in the forum. 😉
That would also benefit everybody, because we can already report bugs and the Dukes are even more polished when SU15 hits. 🙂

Not one to check forums often, but I've been keeping an eye on this one for a few days now cause my Duke itch needs to be scratched. Totally understand that Black-Square wants to release these aircraft in the best working condition, but I too would definitely be interested in a sorta "early access" to flying it in its unfinished state. Here's hoping to no more delays to SU15.

One of the things that we are all very used to in aviation are delays. Sort of got used to delays at airports (in real life) all the time, so waiting a bit longer for what are going to be fantastic add-ons is not going to kill me. But the anticipation.............

I'm right there with you, I feel bad for black square here too because it's entirely possible they lose the buzz from a month ago and sales can suffer.

Hour long early access first impressions video was just released on YouTube, so should be getting very close to release.

Hoping more early access review copies were seeded to other reviewers as well - let me just leave it like that :-)

Re: pricing - Wasn't clear to me if the discount was only applicable if both variants were bought concurrently or it would also be available if the 2nd was purchased after some time.

Also, in the stream, the doors were open but looking on the EFB I struggled to see that - may be worth a highlighted block to indicate open vs closed.

    Even more impatient now :-)

@brennan Plenty of other coverage due soon. Keep an eye out.

The discount is only available by purchasing the bundle in the first instance and not by buying one of the single aircraft after the other.

Thanks! - just watched 320simpilot's marathon which was much better but it was focused on the piston. I have no doubt V1 or ITBS will cover the turbine - V1 does love his PT6 :-)

I also watched, A330 Drivers and 320 Simpilots Videos and the are far superior over the slightly confused OverKillSims one 😄
That makes the wait even harder... it's a totally instant buy of the package... even if I will barely fly the turbine one, I want to support BlackSquare because there only a few devs out there on this level of fidelity and we spent so much money on our hardware which is worth nothing without proper aircraft.

I’m of the same mind … I’m certainly intent upon buying the bundle of both Dukes even though I suspect I’ll spend at least 80% of my flight time with the reciprocating engine version, if for no other reason than to get to fuss with the more challenging startup process and the mixture (and to hear those sounds!). Waiting is just hard, especially in this case because I think the piston Duke is likely to replace the BS Bonanza as my most favored MSFS aircraft.

For me the sounds are a huge deal. It adds sooo much to immersion and from what I've heard on various streams - Boris has outdone himself this time. I was never that interested in failures before but then I got the FSR500 which has great depth so killing my starter suddenly made things interesting. Next I got the Lear which I love but got disappointed when there was no consequence to forgetting (checklists are for wimps:-) ) to turn on cabin air. That has now been resolved but I suddenly got why the fidelity and failures add so much. I have the 414 but I seem to be able to abuse that mightily with little consequence and I'm left wanting more.

This is going to be a hellishly expensive month - Dukes, MD11, BATC, CH47 and a rail sim. RIP bank account

They have been suspiciously quiet last days and reddit/Discord looks like there will be another delay because they mentioned another beta build.

I hope we can get the Dukes with a simple disclaimer before SU15. Could be another month until Microsoft is satisfied with the result for the rest of the year.

I agree, given the reported major problems with the current beta build and the fact that they are already making references to the next beta build. My hunch at this point is that SU15 won’t release before the last week of May at the very earliest … and I’m increasingly worried about what sort of condition the sim will be in after it finally does get released.

Early access copies have already been sent to streamers/content creators so having to delay the public release weeks or months untill SU15 releases would suck. Personally I'm fine with it releasing on SU14 even with it not being 100% perfect. I do understand why they would want the product to be as perfect as it can be on release though. Tough situation.

@Raven1022 I don’t think it’s incomplete or is an early access I think is an issue with a third party add on the gps I think

And something related to the ground handling

I have no hope for SU15 today, what‘s the stand on the Dukes?
I think we all would be more than happy to have a 90% Duke now than a 99% in one, two or four weeks.
