@Derek Just an observation. The frequency of new posts is very low compared to the 'bustling' Discord communities supporting many other MSFS addons. Crucially, many questions asked here go un-replied to and un-answered, which is frustrating for enthusiastic users.

If you've got any questions or issues with operating the aircraft your best bet is always to contact JF Support. They can deal directly and save a lot of time. We don't generally do forum support. In the case of Black Square, the developer does dip into our forums (and others) but if you want a concrete answer to a specific question, Support is the way to go.

@Luke The constant meaningsless chitchat on Discord does not improve a product. This is a support forum. Nothing more, nothing less. It is a structured way of submitting information to the developer.
Fell free to open a TBM850 fan discord to discuss all matters TBM in a relax manner. -
@Mad_X I entirely concur regarding Discord - I loath it. My OP here was not a criticism of this forum, more an expression of my wish to see a more active community around this great product. It's great for a product when people actively discuss, support and share ideas and experiences.
Ironically, @Derek's reply here says that this is not a support forum, whereas you say it is. I'd just like to see a more active forum generally, with more active contributors in whatever shape or form that takes. With an active community, U2U support kind of takes care of itself but as I originally stated, many questions here just go unanswered.
Cheers.

For the avoidance of doubt, we don't do forum support. The purpose of the forum is really only to discuss stuff - however, we accept that folk will ask questions and others will answer them - occasionally with very bad advice - hence why we don't like forum support. Meanwhile, the JF development team (and partners such as Black Square or DC Designs) will also dip into the forum to see what's being discussed and may also answer questions.
You are saying that not enough people are discussing the product(s). I don't think there is much we can do to address that, but, in the case of unanswered questions, that issue can be resolved by contacting Support who will always do their best to answer.

@Luke There's always this thread too over on the official forums. Over 1000 posts here. Maybe you'll find what you're after here?

There have been 9 posts on the MSFS official forums for all my aircraft this week and 89 on the JF forums. Twenty-four of them are mine.
I can't promise that I get to everything, but I have spent so much time replying to posts on this forum, solving problems, and implementing custom code for cockpit builders through direct messages over the holidays that I've hardly had time to work on anything else. It delights me when I can solve a problem for someone, or improve their immersion, and this forum has been a great platform for that recently. I also appreciate that it is a searchable database for official information on a product, and code repository for those looking to make their own modifications.
Anyone is welcome to create a Discord community, and I would happily direct my users towards it.

EXACTLY why I will NOT ever buy another Black Square plane. They maybe good but their support SUCKS.
Compare them to Raul, Momo or ANY of the good plane developers. No more of my money.
Sure is a very detailed description of your problem there.
Edit: wait, are you mad he didn't fix your problem within an hour after posting?
