ALT capture not working? Baron.

On my last flight the AP did not want to capture the armed altitude. Was set to 20000’ and showed ARMed. When I was approaching 20000’ CAPT illuminated but the aircraft did not capture the altitude but continued to climb past 20000’ at the same VVI. Tried multiple times both from above and below the set altitude, but always same result. Anybody else had this issue?

@sleepy81 Are you using the GTN for COM1/NAV1 and the GNS430 for COM2/NAV2? Every time I've seen this issue on a live stream, they were using that configuration. I have the KX155 as COM2/NAV2, no problem. Worth a try.

@kc-pilot yes I was! So that might be the reason. Have been using the KX155 afterwards (just because I was testing different layouts) and has not happened after that, so I think you are on to something. :)

It captures for me, but at the "wrong" altitude.
Seems like the KFC 150 is ignoring your manually set altimeter and you can only set it via the hotkeys to standard or local baro.
Was using the TDS as NAV/COM1 and the KX155 as NAV/COM2. -
@schmidde Have exactly the same issue. Multiple attempts during climb and descent and ALWAYS capturers about 200ft off. Annoying in IFR using ATC.
@ftrdoc in my case it did not capture at all, just continued past for several thousand feet if I let it.
But it has only happened once.Your issue might be more in line with this bug: https://community.justflight.com/topic/4544/baron-58p-ap-altitude-captures-pressure-alt-instead-indicated-one
I.e the AP does not capture whatever the indicated altitude in your altimeter is, but the pressure altitude instead.
