Analog Caravan with Improvement Mod
-
When I fly the Analog Caravan with the C208 Improvement Mod (from Flightsim.to) I get a constant warning beeping sound as soon as the battery is turned on. No warnings appear on the annunciator panel other than the normal pre-engine start lights. The beeping continues even after all lights are extinguished. This does not happen if the Improvement mod files are removed from the Community folder. I'm very puzzled.
Any thoughts? -
check and make sure your fuel switches on the overhead are ON. If they are off you will get an annoying alarm with no "warning light" indicated anywhere.

@chrisjk24 Thanks, but that was one of the first things I verified. Even with both fuel valves open, I still got the FIRE ALARM sound. There is apparently some mismatch between the C208 improvement mod and the Black Square analog mod. I had to remove firealarm.wav from the sound folder to stop the warning horn from activating as soon as battery was turned on.

Hi folks.
We've heard a few times via Support about this one and the answer to it is actually on the flightsim.to page for the mod's update/replacement as a known issue:
"- When used with Black Square C208B Analog Mod you will hear continuous FIRE ALARM. To work around the problem remove C208B-mod\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX\sound\C208B Fire Alarm.wav file."
While there are a few mentions of it on the original mod's page comments, which don't seem to have been replied to, the mod has been superseded by further work of another developer, from whose page that text has been taken - it can be found here:
