    Hi there, since the SU6 yesterday, "Real Taxyways" isn't working for me anymore. I made a back-up of my old Community folder to clear it for the upgrade. Since everything seemed to work fine, I moves some mods back into it, including "Real Taxiways" but the new taxiway signs didn't show up anymore. So I uninstalled the mod, re-installed it but still nothing. Only moving the files directly in to the Asobo files seems to make them work again (which is obviously not how you want to install a mod). Any ideas?

    @gerudan I agree - I have also noticed this.

      @geekgamertv Unfortunately not, other than their original response saying they were aware and looking for a fix.

      In the meantime I've just copied the textures from the mod folder into the asobo files which works fine. It's not ideal but you do it once and forget about it.

      To do that:

      1. Go to \Community\bksq-us-bcde\scenery\Global\Asobo_Props\TEXTURE
      2. Right-click TAXI_SIGN_SYMBOL.PNG.DDS, click Properties, and find the "Size" of the file (NOT "Size on disk"). Write down the size in bytes, not in KB.
      3. Copy TAXI_SIGN_SYMBOL.PNG.DDS
      4. Go to \Official\Steam\fs-base\scenery\Global\Asobo_Props\TEXTURE (for the store version, the path will be slightly different)
      5. Find the TAXI_SIGN_SYMBOL.PNG.DDS file and rename it by adding .bak at the end (this is optional, but necessary if you want to restore the original textures later)
      6. Paste the file you copied before.
      7. Go up 4 directories until you are in the fs-base folder, and open layout.json
      8. Find TAXI_SIGN_SYMBOL.PNG.DDS and change the size to what you wrote down before.

      To get the back of the taxi sign textures you will also need to do the same thing but with \Community\bksq-optional-textures\scenery\global\asobo_props\texture\TAXI_SIGN_BACK_ALBEDO.PNG.DDS instead. The ground textures seem to work fine as-is.

      If you revert later, don't forget to update layout.json with the original file sizes.

      @n293wk Thank you very much for the fix. I can confirm that this also works with SU7. Not sure why Just Flight has not fixed this yet, but I am happy with the work around.

        @Martyn Are there any future updates to this planned?

          @jmarkows wondering this also. Surely it's not, not supported already?

            @yankeetendy35

            I can confirm it's not not supported. Not to support it would be a no-no. That is to say, it is supported. However, with SU6 and then 7 we have been trying to find a cleaner fix than the one mentioned above and that is proving difficult.

            The next pack (Europe) is in progress as well, but taking longer than hoped due to the above. More when we know more.

                  I just tried the update 1.1.0 and it's still not working right. To be sure I was checking it out correctly, I removed the community fix and restored those files to their original state. I then ran the update, and saw that the taxiway sign backs were no longer black. Also, when exiting the runway, it showed MMMM instead of the taxiway hold lines symbol. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, once with the original and the update, and once with just the update file, but the result was the same. So then I put back the community fix, and it all looked good again. Not sure what the update 1.1.0 fixed, but I did not see it.

                        I did everything as described here yet I still always see MMMM signs.

                        I am also wondering if the new filesize of TAXI_SIGN_SYMBOL.PNG.DDS being only 119 byte can be correct. Also it shows as a JSON file. Whenever I repair the installation the file is replaced by the same one.

                        A video on how to fix this would be very much appreciated. Even better if the installer would be updated or a patch be released. Thanks for any advise.

                          @ftnet305 This process can be very confusing if your file explorer (as it does by default) hides file extensions.

                          I'd turn that off (for this process definitely, but it just makes life easier in general being able to see file extensions). The 119 byte file is indeed the wrong one
