@Black-Square I would like to ask — and also kindly request — whether the upcoming update will address the glass effect and instrument reflections on the cockpit gauges, as this is currently something that is noticeably missing from the overall visual experience. I understand what the developer previously mentioned: that there are limitations on the Asobo Studio side regarding this aspect, and that this issue may not be resolved until those limitations are addressed. However, it is also visible that since release, the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator have not really focused on this problem, and in my personal opinion, they are unlikely to do so in the future. For this reason, I would like to ask the Caravan developer to consider implementing their own solution for instrument glass effects and reflections. Even an interim or custom solution would significantly enhance immersion and visual quality for users, at least until — or if ever — Asobo addresses this limitation.

@asnamara I was thinking of doing same. Make sure the temp probe is not in direct sunlight tho...

@hangar_101 I know, but since Andy suspected that Chaseplane may be the reason that only the Copilot shows up for him but no passengers, I wanted to clarify that it does indeed work with Chaseplane installed.

@09tir98 Oh, of course, thanks for the answer! I can't believe that explanation didn't cross my mind, but I guess I have spent too much time facing forward in the cockpit.

As MiRexer already suggested I would start with an almost empty community folder to make sure it is not caused by any other add-on.

Ah bummer. I wonder if they're working on that though. Might be worth keeping an eye on it!

@Zacke I had this issue last night on my first attempt, and then I did "send to avionics" a second time and it worked. It's the only time I've tried though, so I'm not sure how consistent your issue is.

I have seen that same thing when playing with the breakers to save a bit of battery before starting. If it's not how the unit would work in real life, that's a WT issue, not a Black Square issue, as those are first-party GPS units.

@Black-Square Here are a few options I can suggest: Put the anchor on the passenger door Do the good ol "click on a magic screw" The old fashioned square button on the panel reminiscent of FSX (i joke i joke) Have the plane load in "if gear up", anchor auto deployed option in the tablet. Also you could put a rope that sits somewhere visible on the pontoon when the door is open. Click and drag the rope to "slew" the aircraft. Just my $.02 but even though my suggestions would be more work, the concept may pay off long term with other aircraft you may be thinking about for the future.

@hangar_101 It was my error. I had assigned F2 for the Chase Plane Fly-By input, which also happened to be the MSFS 2024 Default Thrust Reverser assignment. So of course I lost power when I did the Fly-By view. I just removed the Default Thrust Reverser assignment from the F2 binding to solve the issue as I don't use it in any case.

I imagine what you cannot see on the gauge is simulated if that's what you're asking.

I believe we are also getting a slight update with the adverse yaw in 1.1 so that you should not see the ball swing left when it should most probably swing right with power application... I don't think moving the indicator is in the cards unfortunately...
