I believe I’ve found the cause and it’s related to the issue I mentioned about the COM/MIC buttons in this other post. While I have COM2 and COM2/MIC selected, the GNS430 volumen knob works correctly. As soon as COM1/MIC is active, having COM2 active at the same time, it doesn’t work. In that case only the GNS530 volume works. Occasionally (not always, but it happens sometimes), when all four buttons are selected (COM1, COM1/MIC, COM2 and COM2/MIC), the ATIS selected on COM2 is heard duplicated, as if it were also tuned to COM1.

Further info here, in that an afternoon spent doing ILS approaches with the freight or Cargomaster variant has been rock solid and a World removed from what I see in the clean, no pod pax version. Solid as a rock and on rails at all speeds down to an improbable 70 knos indicated. There is definitely something odd here, but what it might be, I haven't a clue.

@Black-Square Thanks for the clarification. I guess I'll have to live with it showing up on shadows cast on the ground as well while sitting inside the plane. Other than this, it is a great plane, and has already provided me with hours and hours of entertainment. I thank you for that!

@Chicobello I checked the files as soon as I saw (I'm assuming your) post on the Official Forums, and all four flight models are identical in this respect. Let me know if you have had a chance to examine this.

@RPGamerous maybe some genius makes a doorless variant of cargomaster as well. Can be am imaginary skydive variant

I already have eyesight issues and my second string to the bow to induce levels of pseudo hypoxia seem to centre around more beer which could be deemed as quite successful, though further testing needs to be carried out to keep currency in this area of research.

@RealPax i will do that latter on when I get home and will incorporate as much info as I can on this. Only have time for a small 30 min flight or so tonight.

@taylerf01 Thanks. I assume that means they had to wire the entire annunciator panel power (likely the ground, I would think) through the standby power switch, just to get those two annunciator lights called out in the manual to illuminate for some reason. Thanks for the demo! I'll see if this can be replicated without too much trouble.

All of my keyboard flap keys are disabled and only respond to trim button on yoke and flap axis handle on TM quadrant. Never seen flap responses from B key. Thanks though for the info.

OK. My bad then. Thanks for info on that I just have not worked on or seen any of those, having worked on plenty different PT6 powered Aircraft. Probably explained by the few installations and mostly for Float planes it seems.

Love it! Thank you! And good catch- you are correct that I did pull that quote from the G1000 Caravan POH! It did confirm what I remembered about my Caravan experience, which was unfortunately well before G1000s even existed. Just one more confirmation that I'm getting old!

@ButterSausage Your best bet would be to contact Just Flight Support and they can advise on any problems you are having with the aeroplane.
