@Black-Square thankyou. I can see the changes added in v1.2: Sounds for all exterior interactions, like opening and closing doors, are now audible during walkarounds.

@Black-Square I don't see anything related to this in the change log for 1.2, should I still expect it to look funny in 2024?

@IanMcLav Hi, did you find out why the trim wheel moves slightly forward and backward when the AP is engaged? I have the same issue in MSFS2024 version of the caravan.

@RealPax that's good to know, thanks for being the first to try it! I didn't scan the patch notes extensively so I missed that line.

@Black-Square I worded that extremely poorly; I was trying to convey I was asking about pax not needing oxygen until 15,000ft. Your proposed solution makes sense to me in that context.

@DeWoert Thank you for sharing this nice robust solution for the white boxes! I hope you folks don't mind me sharing a little extra 'work around' [extract taken from https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/white-box-over-vpilot-traffic-tail-number/312004/20] that disables the dynamic registration and thus enables us to paint a registration onto the appropriate texture, share the 'addon aliased' texture then have it visible in a Multiplayer Session as usual. First, as you can see from the screenshot, apply your registration to the appropriate C208 Texture using your usual repaint software. Then: "In MSFS, when you go to World Map to launch a flight. Select an aircraft and a livery, then go to “customization” On “Tail Number” make sure your cursor is in the box and hit “ALT 255” on the number pad. This will create a “null” character in that box and will virtually create an empty box." Sorry that this is a 'messy' solution but it works fine in MSFS2020 [I don't have 2024]. Perhaps there's a cleaner solution... Dave [image: ea27bf76-18f5-459b-95fd-1684d470a0f5.png]

For anyone struggling with this, here are my findings across a few planes. Its an interesting thing I promise First up: There are controls you can bind that work even for those ADF units that wont show or let you set decimals: [image: 38441838-343b-4448-9909-99ba1c496db1.png] That'll let you tun +/- 0.1 per button press, so you can make any of the ADF equipped planes work if you need to. And here's the verdict for various GA aircraft for those of us in the UK and elsewhere with .5 congested frequencies Tested by sitting on the ground at EGHI and trying to get 391.5 for the EAS NDB less than a mile away Cessna 172 G1000 (or I assume anything G1000) [image: 1d104a78-7cbb-41ee-b7be-89f68bbc2121.png] Lets you tune whatever decimal you like. Nice. Cessna 172 Steam [image: e2fbdcb6-84f3-4582-8c39-76f52decf1af.png] Fail. No Decimal tuning and no auto tuning. (you can use keybindings as above but you wont see the decimal changing - but you WILL see the freq round up to 392 when you set 391.5 Here's my stream Deck output showing (A:ADF ACTIVE FREQUENCY:1, Number) at the very same moment [image: bc14ed9e-153b-4f03-bd6b-e276ab9f8f98.png] Cessna 152 [image: f3fe0dfc-d1a0-4561-b127-68bc656361f2.png] Fail, same as the Steam 172. No decimals but you can use the keys if you can count to 5. Though interestingly, if you do use the keys it will show you have decimal, just not what that decimal is. [image: 1614b81d-0ae6-4001-b974-53ba34b78b62.png] And I can tell you that 391.5 works, but .4 or .6 does not. At all. The needle just dies immediately. JF Tomahawk and JF Pipers Auto, baby! Here's the unit... no room for decimals [image: 6103ea93-7023-4175-86d6-da1f8ccda33e.png] But about 5 seconds after tuning 391.0... We see (A:ADF ACTIVE FREQUENCY:1, Number) jump to 391.5 and lock, and the needle will move: [image: 997ad238-ce6c-4b1f-95bf-41543c94294a.png] Black Square Bonanza and Caravan: [image: 2cc3acf7-92b9-4f5a-99c3-4519734bb003.png] Both let you click the Off/Vol knob to add .5 each time. And have the . feedback to let you know its on .5. Nice. Black Square Starship [image: 1c47e06f-45eb-4193-8257-b6d946c4365b.png] AND [image: d3d09e44-6bcf-478a-a175-7aa415ddd730.png] Lets you set the decimal, and lets you do that in 2 different ways, because of COURSE it does. Because it's the best plane the company ever built. Blackbird Cessna 310R, Bagolu's Cessna Bushkit, etc etc I guess they use the default Asobo ADF KR80TSO unit because it does nothing clever. Here it is set to 391.5 using the keys: [image: 86b5ac4e-3a93-49cd-bb12-d6501e5ffa58.png] "Not ideal." Key points: Not too many people care about ADF especially .5 tuning. But we love those who do, @Black-Square and @just-flight! Asobo should implement auto .5 tuning, maybe in both directions, in their KR80TSO You can make it work in any ADF equipped plane using keybinds but they're not great. I apparently have nothing better to do than clog runways while playing with ADF

@Black-Square OK that seems to work well. It appears to be simply "slowing down the animation" which works fine for me. @Black-Square said in Customizing the Prop Animation: If you also want to delay the transition to the blurred propeller disk, then change the first line to (A:PROP RPM:1, RPM) 286 > I'm not super concerned, but this didn't seem to affect anything that I could see. I even increased it to the prop's maximum RPM and I still got the blurred disc effect. Also, I think initially I was getting hung up on this final line, thinking that I could somehow multiply the visual RPM by 0.5 as it relates to the engine RPM: (L:bksq_VisualPropRpm, RPM) (>L:BKSQ_CARAVAN_PROP_RPM, RPM) Thanks again!
