Thanks for the answer, it does not correspond with the problem I have, I have no crosswind problems (I did tests in the total absence of wind) mine is a problem of deadlift moment in takeoff and moment of landing gear touch. land in the landing, everything that happens immediately before is all right .. unfortunately with Translate it is not clear when it advises to vary the steering angle or maybe I understood so myself .. can you give me some advice here? as it is now the plane is practically unusable ... Asobo has since added a simvar that would allow the ident button to function properly. I believe it is 'TRANSPONDER IDENT:1' Edit: JF has confirmed this feature is coming in future updates.

All, I believe after some testing I have managed to resolve the broken Pipers issue. I tried many things and nothing seemed to work and then it struck me that I hadn't switched to a compeletely different plane. So, I switched to the default Cessna (the original 172) and started a flight. I then put myself back in the Piper Arrow IV and all was, once again, right with the world. I just completed a 2hr flight to El Paso and it was a great flight! I'd like to thank you all for your help and I hope the above notes serve to help another. Good day.

I finally had a good flight since SU5 and the Arrow 9.0 update. The AP was switched off on the dash (If I use AP I usually control it with the Logitech Multipanel). I switched it on and back off and my ailerons started working correctly.

@szymek2392 Not automatically, only when you click them. But usually when I click the right yoke to show/hide it I accidentally pull a breaker and don't realize so it's still good to check

@ojdee This behavior sounds similar to the random startup bugs I recently posted. https://community.justflight.com/topic/2603/random-startup-bugs/1 I have removed all add on liveries for my JF aircraft from my community folder to see if that clears things up. So far my last few flights have been bug free.

@copper Problem solved. I had installed a light mod for the Arrow from flightsim.to, with that installed the rotary controls work again. I revisited the mod and there was a note explaining that the mod was incorporated in v 0.6.0 of the Arrow so the mod is no longer required. Thanks for everyones input to help resolve my issue.

@vcapra1 Hmm, never considered that I would be using the AI pilot, I do have that checked (I like looking at scenery, lol), and if that was changed in SU5, that makes sense as well Thanks!

@superkaro2014 Yes, I just flew the new release and I must say, I am impressed that they both addressed the issues brought on by SU5 (at least for me, they all seem fixed) and some new stuff too. The ground handling and aileron drag in particular seem a lot better than before. Thank you Just Flight for your continued support and updates!

I've read multiple times that people had issues with the AP that got resolved by simply disabling the state saving. My guess is that exiting the aircraft at a certain state results in some state being saved that is restored in a way that the AP then doesn't work properly.

I would have to agree that it is more unstable after the SU5 and even after the hotfix released shortly after. Several planes, payware/freeware mods etc are having issues. Thankfully JF is aware of these. For now, I will just fly the modded C208 for now until all these are resolved.
