This seems like an intermittent issue, but somehow I am able to get into a state where the VOR2 indicator does nothing, despite having a valid VOR tuned.

Using the KX 175A and KX 175B stack, no GPS, I have NAV 1 and NAV 2 tuned to the same VOR (to proved is in range/LOS etc). VOR 1 indicator and direction indicator are behaving as expected, but the VOR2 indicator does nothing.

Is there some switch/setting that would result in an inoperable VOR2 indicator?

I have a .flt with this scenario in effect.

If I start a fresh flight, eg the example flight from Compton-Abbas - Shoreham, both gauges are fine.

It would be useful to know if there is something I can do should this occur in another flight in the future.

    Thanks

@ojdee Hi. I have experienced some strange behaviour from the standard navigation equipment when a previous version of the PMS GTN 750 mod was installed. Simply having it present in my Community folder and not necessarily active created the issue.

    Thread is here: https://community.justflight.com/topic/2485/v0-8-0-kn-62a-issue

If you haven't tried it yet I'd suggest a couple of flights with only the Arrow in the community folder... sounds like the standard song these days, but it seems there are a lot of conflicts after SU5 and all the mods trying to catch up.

@superkaro2014 Thanks for reply. I don't have the mod in community folder and the issue seems to come and go with same install and just different flights.

You are right it may be a recent issue introduced with SU5, just wondering if there was any legitimate way to have an INOP VOR2 indicator, versus just a bug somewhere.

    Thanks

@ojdee There is something a bit off since update 5.
Yesterday I bought the Cerenado PA34 because I want a twin engine Plane with no G1000 and the whole Nav2 stuff did not work at all.

But I was a bit disappointed in general. The Just Flight guys and girls set the bar so high that the Cerenado does not impress me at all with all the inoperative switches. Considered a refund because the whole NAV stuff did not work at all also, but this seems to be because Cerenado has to fix the Sim5 stuff first… then it could be ok. I hope they are as fast and responsive as JF.

Would love to see a steam gauge JF Baron sometime.

@ojdee This behavior sounds similar to the random startup bugs I recently posted.

I have removed all add on liveries for my JF aircraft from my community folder to see if that clears things up. So far my last few flights have been bug free.
