PA28 0.9.0 ailerons not working
-
Just installed the update of PA28 (Version 0.9.0) and found a possible bug:
on ground the control surfaces work OK. After take off, gear retracted, the ailerons are lost and only tail surfaces respond (rudder and elevators)
Any other aircraft, either standard or addon, work just fine, it´s the PA28 that has this behaviour. -
@andysax I am having this issue too, but on the ground the ailerons are acting up too for me. I have a CH Combat stick and it behaves correctly for all other planes and shows in the controls set up the axis is working correctly with fine control for ailerons, but not behaving correctly in the Arrow.
Also have the Logitech Switch and Multipanels. I notice if I have the power on in the Arrow, then sometimes when I move the stick for ailerons that the AP button light will go or off on the Multipanel. I've tried disconnected both Logitech panels with no change.
I have tried with all other mods removed and no difference.
With TrackIR disabled, no difference.
I use addon linker and always move the Arrow to my payware addons folder so that I can link it in and out of the game as needed. I tried moving it back straight into the community folder to see if that was an issue, no difference.
I tried redownloading 9.0. I uninstalled the Arrow using the Just Flight uninstall in the start menu and then installed the redownloaded package and no change.
It seems when I first start up the Arrow the airelons work for maybe a half second and then they go to acting up. They will go full left or full right and moving the joystick I can get them to jump to 45 degrees left or right but that's it.
The problem only affects the ArrowIII. I have spent most of the long weekend trying to sort it and I'm to the point of just giving up.

@phantoms, It sounds like your autopilot might be ON... If you turn on the autopilot while on the ground it will drive the ailerons hard over if the ROLL knob is centered.
Thank you for that advice. I finally had a good flight since SU5 and the Arrow 9.0 update.
The AP was switched off on the dash (If I use AP I usually control it with the Logitech Multipanel). I switched it on and back off and my ailerons started working correctly.
