@Rothe said in Flight Schedule problems.:
I tried many times to use the ticket system, but it did nok work. After that I send an email direct to Justflight, without getting any reaction.

I know that Justflight don't do support via the forum. So where to go ?

We are a couple of updates on from the original post. Details here:

    https://support.justflight.com/support/solutions/articles/17000072306-traffic-global-changelog

The ticket system DOES work. Sometimes, after a heavy weekend on the absinthe and chicken vindaloo, one might wish it didn't, but, still they come in.

We don't have an email address for support (hence the ticket system). Most mail comes via the 'contact us' page and, I am afraid, 90+% of it is spam, so it may be that your email was blocked. However, if you would like to raise a ticket with the specific problems you are having with the software and pop the ticket number in here we will keep an eye on it and check progress.

As to whether it is a 'poor substitution for its FSX sisters', the 'Traffic' franchise has been around since FS2000 and this version was designed to work with both FSX and P3D. The aim of the program is to add high quality commercial aircraft traffic to the host game, using realistic schedules and to ensure that traffic is a very significant improvement over the default. That's what it did 20 years ago and it still does. Same goes for the X-Plane version and, if we're spared, maybe some half-sister will coyly peep round the file structure and add her skills to MSFS.
In the meantime, if you can let us know what you are having problems with we will endeavour to either find a solution or at least tell you we can't be of help.

@jetset Take a really close look at the third item in the list you posted... (Hint: FSX)
That changelog is from Traffic Global for the other flight sim...

@irbis74 said in Network and Traffic Global:

Hi, I just want to know, i.e. ask @Nosferatu if this is working now? I have exactly the same problem. I have one master and one slave PC for external visuals, and I have two different "Traffic Global" licences, but AI traffic on the slave PC does not show up. When the second PC is not in slave mode but in master mode, TG works very well.
I need to know in detail how to do the network setup for TG regarding settings in X-Planes network setup and settings in TGs network setup. Thanks!

Gonna be a JF Support issue, I suspect. See my reply to a similar post over on the XP.org forum. I don't think many forum users dabble in networks, hence so few replies.

You select the My AI flights TAB then then the Add New Flight Plan TAB then create a flight plans from scratch.

Hi Ray, I only have that screen with the FSX version, not with X-Plane..... am I supposed to have it with X-Plane?

    Regards

@Derek i do agree except for the FB X-Plane Learning Center Group. That group does not tolerate such behavior. We have over 3000 members and is a great resource, as well as the org. The org though is partial due to sales and such. So sometimes you get suspended for voicing your opinion. so there is that too.

I fly from Heathrow max traffic and there are no planes taxi to runway or a queue of aircraft landing what's gone wrong with this version, use to be fine.

It appears that an uninstall does not uninstall - doesn't remove anything from the plugins folder.
Uninstall, remove from plugins folder, re-install etc appears to have resolved the issue.

Must have been some corruption within the plugin area related to traffic in specific areas.

This does sound odd. Network operation is definitely tested and even works across platforms (Win/Mac). As long as both ends are the same version and both licensed it really should just work. The most likely problem is that it's being blocked by a firewall. Contact support and we can work through it in detail.

Update - have had a second report of this so I'll definitely be looking into it next week.

There are a number of custom views that follow individual AI aircraft, but X-plane's own won't because X-Plane is unaware of any externally-created aircraft. You can choose what aircraft to follow by clicking on one in the flight schedule board, on the radar, on the flight plan view or selecting one on screen, or using the standard X-Plane next/previous AI. There's much more detail in the manual.

Not sure what you mean here? The active runway is available from the flightpath view, and from the comms system if you're trying to find out what the active currently is. For defining what the rules are that affect the choice, they come from X-Plane's flow definitions so that no additional rules are required for it to work. There's no integration with VATSIM firstly because they don't offer a way of doing this, but more because it doesn't fit. VATSIM adds its own aircraft which will be completely unaware of TG aircraft so they just don't fit in the sim at the same time. Using their active doesn't work because TG's traffic won't match VATSIM's.

This file was missed from the distribution - already fixed for the future. First, you don't have to edit this to get GA aircraft, all it's for is changing the balance of flights towards training activities instead of point to point private flights.

The file is a very simple two-column CSV file which goes into the same folder as the .bgl traffic database. I can't attach a file here but the first column is the ICAO code, the second column is the word "include" or "exclude", and there is a header row which is ignored.
