No traffic since SU4 in msfs 2024

I am also seeing traffic on my side post-Sim Update 4, so the cause of no traffic appearing is likely related to something else.

I've noticed the same problem and sort of know why it happens. First flight works fine and shows traffic. But If I do another flight at another location there is never ever any aircraft. What I do is shut down the PC and restart and traffic is there. So to me the problem is if I do a second flight at another location - No Traffic-

Yes, it happens to me sometimes too, although not as often as @balzbac . It's pretty random.
Without changing any settings, sometimes traffic appears and sometimes it doesn't. Restarting usually fixes it.
It's definitely something that needs addressing in future updates. -
it's happening too many times for me now, esc and restart fixes it but it's becoming a real pain in the backside

In my case, it was because an old version of the SimConnect client was installed when I installed the Leonardo MD82 Anniversary. This SimConnect version is still from FSX and has repeatedly caused problems in both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
Since I uninstalled it, FSTraffic has been working smoothly again. -

I have the same issue: If I load into a flight there is 9/10 times no traffic. Workaround: ESC and press „Restart“. Then traffic will appear as soon as you enter the aircraft. Weird…

@robmoses66 No solution but I am just using now the models from FST and PSXT as an engine which is amazing (real live traffic woth no fps hit).

What do the developers and testers have to say on this to help explain why a restart fixes the problem? What does happen in the background of FS2024 when we do a restart that makes traffic appear. So far there has been no response, have they just given up as they know they can't fix it. It's a real sham as FStrafficX was a brilliant product, but this version I feel has them beat
