BlackSquare KingAir Professional for MSFS2024

Receiving home cockpit photos inspired by my aircraft is one of my favorite parts of this forum! It looks like yours is a little more than just "inspired by"! I'm thoroughly impressed, and very envious! Congratulations. That must have been an incredible amount of work.
Without trying to be too cryptic, I'm sure that many have found my strategic silence surrounding a King Air Professional to be very telling
I don't think anyone doubts that one is in the works, but I haven't said anything about what flavor of King Air to expect, or what new standards it will be built to. Let me know if there is ever anything I can do for you with your home cockpit! I'm always happy to help with custom solutions so you can have the best experience possible.@Black-Square hello. Will your kingair have cargo variant?

@django1489 I might be wrong, since I haven't looked, but I don't think there is a cargo variant. You would just remove the rear seats and use the cargo CG location to calculate W&B, which might be in the POH/AFM. So, can we remove the seats?

Yes the reviews of the Carenado B200 are pretty dismal, wishing this one by Black square will arrive some day soon.

Nick needs to release the King Air to save us from temptation.

We should hear soon about more upcoming projects. @Voice-of-Reason said there is a big update article they're about to publish, once Nick puts some finishing touches on it.

Someone prod Nick. I know he’ll be busy with post-launch Caravan stuff, but doesn’t he know we’re itching for King Air info!?

@ricmac024
Would love for the King Air to be as much of an insanely detailed passion project as the Starship. I will just choose to believe this is the case and that's why we are waiting

@Black-Square Hey Nick, we know how dedicated you are to delivering the highest quality aircraft for MSFS. With that in mind, I’d like to ask (beg) you to give us any kind of spoiler or news about the King Air for MSFS… Please, I’m genuinely begging from the bottom of my heart.
I’d also like to know if there’s any possibility of a King Air still coming in 2026.

@pieroni All will be told when we publish an update article soon. As several of you noted above, I did have the opportunity to record sounds from the King Air and Turbo Commander last week, as well as the privilege of flying both.
It took me several weeks of contemplation to choose the specific King Air variant, with competing interests among my users. I think my final decision will deliver the best of both worlds, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts soon.

@Black-Square Thank you so much for getting back to me—I really appreciate it!! Your feedback was very insightful and it got me even more excited and looking forward to the King Air.
I’m sure your choice of model within the King Air family will surprise everyone and turn out to be fantastic work.
Regarding the article, could you give us an approximate timeframe to expect it? Maybe around a month, or should we expect it to take longer than that?
Thank you!
