    Hi Just Flight,

I think the TCAS on the RJ might be worth looking at. Firstly when receiving a TA I get a “ clear of conflict” audio message when the TA is cancelled. I’ve never seen this before as this audio is normally only associated with the cancellation of an RA. Also when RA is encountered there’s no guidance provided. I’m not sure what the RJ did, it I’d expect a colours arc on the VSI or maybe a trapezoid on the PFD. So I’m not sure if this is modelled correctly.

    All the best

    David.

When an RA is triggered, the RJ will provide vertical guidance on the VSI on the right side of the PFD. This is simulated during RAs and can also be seen when performing a TCAS test.

Further improvements to the TCAS logic are on our feature request list, including improvements to the "Clear Of Conflict" triggers; however, we're not able to share any timescales on that at the moment.

        Hi Mark,

Thank you for your reply. I see exactly what you mean now. Last night I couldn’t get it to work, I wonder if I was looking in the wrong place…. Or possibly the RA occurred at too lower altitude for guidance to be issued. Thanks again.
