Also notice that V cross (V+) is not displayed on the speed tape, even though I have set it on the TRP.

That's definitely not what we want to hear. We apologise that you've been waiting that long for a reply.

I have forwarded this on to our support team to see if they can locate the ticket, and they should be in touch soon.

This has been happening to me, but only since I joined the SU4 beta, so put it down to that. Can I ask if you are on the Beta?

@Neal Not on the beta, never have been. For me, it seems to be tied to Beyond ATC. When I'm running that program, IAS doesn't behave properly. When not using BATC, works fine.

I've noticed several videos on youtube where it's not working for other people either. Eagerly awaiting an update for this.

Thanks for that. I have just bought BATC, which coincided with a new SU4 beta release. I'll give it a go without BATC.

Are there any updates on this matter? I experience the same problem. LVL CHG mode will only point FD accordingly to reach the desired speed after flaps are retracted to zero. Before that LVL CHG mode does not work / FD attitude does not point in a direction where it would reach the desired speed.

                  I am also running BeyondATC.

We do have this logged on our internal trackers and it is something we have been investigating. The root cause of this seems to be some sort of core simulator bug in MSFS 2024, where a specific SimConnect function relating to AI traffic generation is affecting the initial engagement of the Level Change autopilot mode.

It seems utterly bizarre to us at the moment how those two things can be linked, but we have some reproducible steps where removing any products from our Community folder that generate AI Traffic does fix this behaviour.

We reached a roadblock with a couple of workarounds we were trying, so it's something we need to continue looking into. Once SU4 fully releases, we can take stock again and see if there is any change in the behaviour.

In the mean time, if you think you have any info that may be helpful in our investigation, could I kindly ask you to raise a support ticket via the following link, and one of our support team will be able to log any of the feedback we receive: https://www.justflight.com/support

I also experience a problem during initial climb with the airplane not accelerating from V2+10 to 210 kts. I'll test this further before creating a support ticket because I think there are some variables which might play a role (BeyondATC, takeoff procedure (normal, NADP), on TRK/HDK or following a LNAV SID, inappropriate engine derate), but this is what experienced last flight: The aicraft stayed at the same pitch after selecting a higher speed, activating LVL CHG didn't help either. Had to accelerate using VS before selecting flaps up.

MSFS 2020 and BeyondATC. Just posting this here to indicate this might not be a MSFS 24 issue only.
