F28 External DC source - Feature suggestion

The F28 (excellent product!) manual mentions an external DC source for APU starting and refuelling as follows: "The DC ground service bus is always automatically energised and can also be fed via an external DC source via a receptacle on the exterior of the aircraft. This supplies enough power for APU starting and refuelling using the refuelling control system."
As I understand this external DC source is not the external power source (GPU) which can be connected via the Ground Power tab in EFB (this provides AC only), this must be a different option, and I could not find a way how is it simulated, or simulated at all.
So, I could suggest this option as a possible new feature to increase immersion, eg. a situation with GPU unavailable and batteries depleted for some reason. So maybe two tabs on EFB, one for GPU (AC source) and another one for external DC.
