    Hi,

Sometimes, I can't lower the landing gear. This is weird one and I can't work out the trigger for the problem. SU3 Beta.

Start a flight, in front cockpit the entire time, take off, wheels up, everything working perfectly, having a wonderful time. On approach to land, landing gear will not lower. All LG lights off. Switch to the back seat, same deal. Red button doesn't help.

Am I missing something procedural? Maybe it's SU3?

Officially, we don't support any of our products with the MSFS Sim Update Betas as they have not been tested. Hence their name, they are betas, and there is often a raft of changes between each build that are subsequently changed again in the following builds. Once an MSFS Sim Update is publicly released and we're confident there won't be any further significant upcoming changes, we'll then test our products and release any necessary fixes.

However, we aren't aware of any landing gear-related issue in the Sim Update 3 beta.

I do recall there is a speed limit for the landing gear extension of 200 knots in the Hawk, and the gear will remain retracted if an extension is attempted above this speed. Perhaps you were attempting to extend the landing gear above this speed?

@Mark I almost didn't post this question for that very reason, I understand completely and sympathize, it must be frustrating.

But good news, I think are right about the landing gear speed limit. This thing is quick, I'm coming in for a approach slowing down with the air brake and not paying attention to the airspeed...

This has caught me out a couple of times. I think what flummoxed me was some rear/cockpit transfer issues the first time I flew, so there was a nagging doubt that I'm doing something wrong again, so I Active Pause, and try to figure out whats going on with the transfer...

Anyway, thank you! I love this jet.
