Start In Flight

Is there a way to start in flight to practice landings? My guess is no - but I thought I'd ask as this is my first airliner and spending a long time starting up makes the process tough to focus on the landing. Thanks.

It is possible to load the aircraft in the air by clicking any area of the World Map in the MSFS Main Menu and then selecting "Set as Departure" or "Fly Now", however, in-air starts aren't something we actively support so there aircraft may exhibit some unexpected behaviour when loading in via this method.
The way we would recommend practicing landings is to load a flight on a runway, and then takeoff and perform a short circuit of the airport. That's the way pilots would practice in the real world, and also allows for practicing takeoff, initial climb, ILS intercept, etc.
