I've had a ticket (78018) open for this issue open for over a year. At one point it was fixed on the mk 4000 but it is now broken for all 4 variants. It is only visible at night and in drone cam view. It is not visible in the spot cam view.

It was supposed to be fixed in v2 and it wasn't and it wasn't fixed in 2.1. My ticket hasn't had a response in 20 days and I'm disappointed that after waiting over a year for this small item to be fixed it's still pending. Can anyone on the JF time give any insight into when this might be fixed, please?

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the of the method we are using to have the high quality F28 cabin visible when the drone camera is used. MSFS doesn't allow interior objects to be illuminated by exterior lighting or cast shadows, which is causing this effect.

We do have it logged on our internal bug tracker and we have looked into it several times, but the logic hasn't changed in the public builds since the the F28s original release.

@Mark This doesn't seem to be an issue on your other MSFS products, is there some reason the exterior of the door is part of the interior model?

We work with a variety of artists across our products who each have their own methods and styles for creating artwork. For example, the artists who work with us on the F28 Professional are different to those who work on the RJ Professional, which is why there are differences such as the one you highlighted.

Understood. I may be a lone wolf crying in the wilderness on this, but it's an unsightly eyesore on an otherwise delightful product and I really hope you'll invest the necessary development time to fix it soon.
