Sim Update 1 - Hawk from 2020 install still disabled.
-
Sim Update 1 applied, still no Marketplace, and no Hawk in MSFS2024.
I assume that another wait for Sim Updated 2 is required.I raised a ticket with JF asking if I could download the MSFS2024 version, but was told to wait for the Sim Update.
I did previously purchase the version for 2020, that still works fine on MSFS2020. -
The MSFS 2024 in-game marketplace was scheduled to be released at the same time as Sim Update 1, however, there appears to have been some further delays and that has been pushed back. See the latest MSFS development update here: https://www.flightsimulator.com/march-6th-2025-development-update/
Our understanding is that once the MSFS 2024 marketplace becomes available, everyone will have access to all of their MSFS 2020 purchases immediately. However, these will be direct ports of the MSFS 2020 products that have been completed by Asobo/Microsoft and have not necessarily been tested or approved by the developer. The products that have not been approved by the developer will have a "Not Creator Approved" tag applied to them in My Library. These products are likely to be outdated and will have bugs in MSFS 2024 as they have not been updated by the developer to be MSFS 2024 compatible.
We are currently working through updates for all of our existing MSFS 2020 products, adding MSFS 2024 compatibility to each of them. The latest status of that can be found on our MSFS 2024 Compatibility Page.
Our Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer has already received its 2024 compatibility update and has been submitted to the marketplace. Unfortunately, it's largely out of our hands now with how long it will take for it to make it through the marketplace process, but as soon as we have been able to test and approve the release on the MSFS 2024 marketplace the update will become available through your My Library and the "Not Creator Approved" tag will be removed.
I hope that helps to provide some insight.
