Is JF_RJ_AP_CRS1 LVAR Read/Write or Read-Only?
-
Hi,
I noticed that the JF_RJ_AP_CRS1 LVAR appears to be read-only. While the MCP_CRS1_sel LVAR is writable, it doesn't allow for easy modification of the course value directly. Is there a way to make JF_RJ_AP_CRS1 writable, or is there an alternative method to control the course more effectively?
Thanks for your help!

Apologies for the belated reply. The simplest way of controlling CRS1 and CRS2 will be to use the 'SET VOR 1' and 'SET VOR 2' MSFS control assignments in conjunction with the PLUS and MINUS MSFS
control assignments (so in order to control CRS1, SET VOR 1 must be triggered and then PLUS and MINUS are used to increase or decrease the value). We don't believe there is a way to control the course via an Lvar at the moment, but I have passed this on to the development team to see if this may be something we could add in a future update to the RJ.

Hello Mark,
Thank you for your reply and for passing this on to the development team. I just wanted to let you know that I managed to control CRS1 successfully by using offset 0C4E (NAV1 OBS) for the course.
I appreciate your support and the updates you’re considering for the RJ!
Best regards,
Emmanuel
